Andy Stein was involved in all aspects of leasing and development as Vice President of Development at Joseph Freed and Associates LLC. He was responsible for site selection, land acquisition, and the entitlement process for development projects. In addition, he was involved in the selection of and the negotiation with national retailers for new developments, redevelopments, and remerchandising of existing properties.

Mr. Stein's development projects at Joseph Freed and Associates LLC include the redevelopment of Hilldale Mall in Madison, Wisconsin (500,000 sf), development of Gerry Centennial Plaza in Oswego, Illinois (450,000 sf), development of Greeley Commons in Greeley, Colorado (140,000 sf), redevelopment of Arborland in Ann Arbor, Michigan (400,000 sf), and the redevelopment of Evergreen Square in Peoria, Illinois (300,000 sf).

Prior to joining Joseph Freed and Associates LLC, Mr. Stein worked for the Weitzman Group/Cencor Realty in research, marketing, and real estate investment.

Mr. Stein is a member of the Illinois ICSC State Committee and the co-chair of the ICSC's National Next Generation Advisory Board. He is a graduate of the University of Texas.
