Clark Street Development Acquires 3.3 acres in Downtown Madison, WI for Redevelopment

December 5, 2008 (Madison, WI) - Clark Street Development purchased approximately 3.3 acres of land in the medical corridor of Madison, Wisconsin for redevelopment. The parcels are located in Madison’s Near West Side at the intersection of S. Park Street and Fish Hatchery Road. The site is currently improved with an industrial facility that operated as the Bancroft Dairy until 2004. The City of Madison has targeted this area, known as Wingra Creek, for redevelopment and commissioned the Wingra Build Study in 2005. This study contemplates a dense, mixed-use development of 4-7 stories in height on the Clark Street parcel. Clark Street Principals are excited about the opportunity to work with the City, community members, and future tenants to bring this vision to reality.
