Clark Street Development has been selected by the Village of Oak Park as the "preferred developer" to redevelop the Colt Building and associated parking just East of the intersection at Lake and Harlem. We are currently in the planning process with the Village of Oak Park to create a mixed use development that will entail new and dynamic retail, medical office (should we just say office), public parking, and potentially a residential component to the market. This 2.5 acre project is situated in the heart of Oak Park and surrounded by Whole Foods Market, Gap, Border’s Books and Music, Trader Joe’s, Chipotle, and Bar Louie to name a few. In addition, this site is steps away from the Oak Park transit center which is home to Metra, CTA, and Pace.
